‘The list is rigged' - Fans react as Ronaldo is excluded from FIFA men's best player nomination

Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was excluded by FIFA but his rival Lionel Messi made it to the Best Player Award list.

Ronaldo, who moved from Manchester United to Al-Nassr has scored 20 goals in 20 appearances for Al Nassr FC in Saudi Pro League.

However, his omission from the list has caused a stir on social media as fans vet their concern about the nomination.

A lot of talks have been going on about the recent list, released by FIFA for the men's best player award on X formerly known as Twitter.

Fans have expressed their concern about the list as FIFA included Lionel Messi and excluded Ronaldo from the list.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s omission from the list has led to several fans calling the nomination a “rigged” process.

One of Ronaldo's stan on X said, “How has Messi been nominated?”

Another one said, “Rigged already”

Another fan claims and added an emoji, “Messi again 😭👋”

Another fan attacked FIFA saying, “Messi actually won the last time for his World Cup? Why is he also nominated?”
