Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was excluded by FIFA but his rival Lionel Messi made it to the Best Player Award list.

Ronaldo, who moved from Manchester United to Al-Nassr has scored 20 goals in 20 appearances for Al Nassr FC in Saudi Pro League.

However, his omission from the list has caused a stir on social media as fans vet their concern about the nomination.

A lot of talks have been going on about the recent list, released by FIFA for the men's best player award on X formerly known as Twitter.

Fans have expressed their concern about the list as FIFA included Lionel Messi and excluded Ronaldo from the list.
