‘They are the worst in the league’ - Chelsea legend Lampard takes a dig at Man United team

Manchester United played a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday in a fierce and intense match.

The Red Devils took the lead in the second half via a penalty from Bruno Fernandes before Chelsea equalised from a strike by Moises Caicedo.

The result leaves Man United rooted in 13th position and Chelsea moving to third position above Arsenal with goal difference.

Lampard has labelled the Manchester United team as the worst pressing team in the Premier League this season.

According to Sportskeeda, the Chelsea legend said, “Manchester United were there for the taking, they are probably the worst pressing team in the league." 

The former Chelsea manager criticised the Manchester United team for lack of coordination in their press.

The Red Devils have struggled to get their season on track and have only won three of their last ten games in the EPL.

The team’s poor performance led to the sacking of Erik Ten Hag last week after their loss to West Ham.

Manchester United will face Noah in the Europa Conference League on Thursday as they look to get back on track.
