The Super Falcons of Nigeria recorded a historic 3-2 victory over Morocco in the final of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The triumph, which took place at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat secured their record-extending 10th continental title.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took to his official social media handle to praise the Super Falcons for their extraordinary achievement.

Tinubu hailed the Super Falcons for their determination which propelled the comeback from two goal down.

He said, "They chose to accept this mission.
