Thibaut Courtois and Mishel Gerzig are officially married.
The 31-year-old Real Madrid goalkeeper wedded his Jewish girlfriend this week.
A report from People reveals that after the pair first connected on Instagram in early 2021, the couple began dating that summer.

Courtois proposed to Gerzig in June 2022 and a year later, he walked teh beautiful Israeli model down the aisle in a beautiful wedding ceremony at the Chateau de la Croix des Gardens in Cannes, France.
Courtois first announced their relationship on Instagram in August 2021. He posted a photo of the couple sitting together with a caption reading, "The love of my life" in Hebrew.
Gerzig told Israeli lifestyle magazine La'Isha that the couple first met on Instagram after Courtois commented on a photo of Gerzig with her pet dog.

Since then the couple have been together although, some people have accused the model and former naval officer of dating the footballer to promote her own career, a rumour she has since dispelled.

Over the weekend, the couple first hosted friends and family to their welcome party ahead of their wedding ceremony.

Courtois and Mishel dressed up in white for the event and seem glued to each other as the pair shared snaps on their social media network.
Three days later the couple shared beautiful photos from their wedding on Instagram with the Real Madrid shot-stopper captioning it: ‘Mr & Mrs Courtois‘

Recall that the Los Blancos shot-stopper was revealed to have slept with his Belgium teammate’s wife.
Courtois was accused of sleeping with Kevin de Bruyne’s then-girlfriend Caroline Lijen after she herself revealed in a bombshell interview.
In 2014, Caroline Lijnen spoke out on her fling with Courtois back, insisting she strayed towards him in 2012 after De Bruyne had his own affair with her best friend.

“Kevin cheated on me,” she told Story Magazine as reported by Daily Star.
“I did not say anything for months because I couldn't say anything, as Kevin's parents said they would take legal action if I gave my story.
“I was under pressure and I could not have contact with Kevin.

“I respected everything. But in his book Keep it Simple Kevin wrote a passage about my affair with Thibaut. So, I decided to remain silent no longer.
“In the summer of 2012, Kevin told me that he had an affair with my old best friend. I gave him the choice: her or me. I was ready to give him another chance, but our relationship was never the same afterwards.

“[I then went to Madrid, and even] Kevin thought that this trip was a good idea. I asked him beforehand. But then something happened that should never have happened.
Daily Star reported that De Bruyne was said to have been ‘devastated’ after the incident, but the midfielder has seemingly patched up his differences with Courtois.
