Okoronkwo shared a screenshot via Snapchat revealing a bizarre direct message from a fan with a chilling caption that read: “Abeg o see threat.”
The user initially sent a message and joked: “Abeg how much be your bride price? I wan marry you.”
When she didn’t reply, the sender returned days later and escalated to: “If you no marry me thunder go fire you.”
It’s a jarring intersection of fame and vulnerability as she prepares for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final in Rabat on Saturday 26 July, where Nigeria will face hosts Morocco at the Olympic Stadium.
