Timothy Ouma & AFC Leopards duo named in Rising Stars' travelling squad for Four Nations Tournament

Rising Stars head coach Salim Babu has named a 23-man traveling squad for the Four Nations Tournament in Malawi, scheduled to be played from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 March.

Nine players from the squad that reached the final of the U18 CECAFA Boys’ Championships have been included in the squad, including Tyrone Kariuki and Stanley Wilson, while AFC Leopards pair of Chris Koloti and Hassan Beja have also made the cut.

The team departed for Malawi on Thursday 21 March and will compete in their first match against Zimbabwe, at the Bingu National Stadium on Friday 22 March.

This tournament holds significance as it aims to develop and expose elite youth talent, while also serving as preparation for the upcoming 2024 AFCON Under-20 qualifiers later this year.
