To keep or let go? Ten Hag responds to Weghorst and Sabitzer Manchester United futures
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has insisted it is too early to talk about the futures of Wout Weghorst and Marcel Sabitzer.
The duo was signed on loan deals in the January transfer window and it is not yet clear if United will keep them beyond the current campaign.
The arrival of Weghorst from his parent club Burnley after being previously loaned out to Beşiktaş and Sabitzer from Bayern Munich was necessitated by the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and Christian Eriksen’s injury.

Weghorst has started in the 12 games he has been available for Ten Hag, while Sabitzer has lined up in the last three Premier League games.
"I think it’s much too quick, much too soon to talk about that. First, we are in this season. That is where the only focus has to be. No distractions for what is coming next season.
No, we are in this season, and we are in the right position at this moment. This is the position we want to be in because we are competing in three competitions," Ten Hag said.
Meanwhile, the former Ajax boss has said Manchester United’s quadruple talk is only for fans. To him, what is more important is their FA Cup fifth-round game against West Ham United on Wednesday.
"That is for fans. We have to focus on the next game, and that is the only thing we are doing. Us, we are talking for 10 minutes and I didn't hear the words West Ham United.
"I think it was the press conference for West Ham United so it's only about this we have to talk about," he said in relation to the quadruple talk.
Ten Hag on quadruple talk: “That is too far ahead. We have to focus on the next game. We are now talking about the Premier League, but I didn't hear the word West Ham. This is the press conference for West Ham, so it is only about that. That is all we have to talk about.”

The Red Devils have already secured the Carabao Cup and remain in the Europa League as well. They are also in contention for the Premier League title although are currently eight points below leaders Arsenal.
For now, though, Ten Hag is not thinking about the prospect of winning the four trophies.
