Toby Sibbick: English-born defender called in Uganda Cranes' squad for Ghana, Comoros friendlies
Uganda Cranes will welcome a new face in their ranks in the forthcoming international friendly matches against Ghana and Comoros.
English-born defender Toby Sibbick has for the first time ever, been summoned into the Cranes squad by head coach Paul Joseph Put.
Sibbick plays for Hearts in the Scottish Premier League, a team he has played for two and a half seasons.
He has played 17 Scottish Premier League games in the current campaign for Hearts, including playing 90 minutes in the 2-0 victory over giants Celtic last weekend.
In the previous campaign, Sibbick played 32 league games and 14 in the 2021/22 season.
He has previously featured for Barnsley and AFC Wimbledon in the English Championship and League One, respectively.

Toby Peter Sibbick was born on May 23rd 1999 in Isleworth to a Ugandan mother and an English father. Sibbick grew up in Feltham, West London.
Per Wikipedia, he started playing football when his father took him to play for Feltham Youth, before later joining Conquest Football Academy.
Sibbick gained a trial for AFC Wimbledon after playing against them and then subsequently being scouted.
He is mainly utilised as a defender but has also been used as a wing-back and a central midfielder.
