The 24-year-old attacker joined West Ham two years ago from Ajax for around €40 million. Two seasons ago, with eight goals and six assists in the Premier League, he was one of the Hammers' key players.
However, like the entire team, his performance dipped last season, resulting in lower numbers. His final tally last season was five goals and three assists in 32 appearances.
Kudus set for Spurs
According to English media reports, via Sportal, West Ham and Tottenham have reached an agreement for the transfer of Mohammed Kudus.
Tottenham's final offer of £55 million (approximately €64 million), submitted to West Ham today, has been accepted. Mohammed Kudus is expected to undergo a medical on Thursday, followed by his official presentation as a Tottenham player.
Tottenham had already submitted one offer, which was swiftly rejected by West Ham. Meanwhile, the Ghanaian player refused to negotiate with any other club as he awaited a new offer from Spurs, which arrived today.
The transfer of Mohammed Kudus will be Tottenham's joint-second-largest in history. Tottenham's biggest transfer was last year's acquisition of Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth for around £60 million.
Joint-second are Richarlison and Tanguy Ndombele, each costing around £55 million—the same fee as Mohammed Kudus from West Ham.
