Transfer Deadline Day- Manchester City and PSG agree on Donnarumma transfer
Donnarumma was a key part of PSG's historic treble-winning team last season, but his current contract was due to expire in 2026.
His reluctance to sign a new deal with the French club and the recent signing of new goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier complicated his situation, leaving him without a single appearance this season. Ultimately, this led to the transfer.
Donnarumma set for City move
Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement for the transfer of Italian international Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to Fabrizio Romano and Sportal.
The transfer fee is expected to be a fixed sum between €30 million and €35 million for the PSG goalkeeper
The 26-year-old goalkeeper is set to join the Citizens on a long-term contract and will undergo his mandatory medical examinations today.
The transfer materialised after it was confirmed earlier today that Man City's current keeper, Ederson, will be moving to Fenerbahçe.
Donnarumma made 161 appearances for PSG, conceding 156 goals and keeping 56 clean sheets.
