Fulham have agreed a deal with Arsenal to sign attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe for an initial fee of £27m, with the potential for an additional £7m in performance-related add-ons.

Smith Rowe, 23, is a very talented academy graduate, who has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal, with Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, and Bukayo Saka now ahead of him in the midfield hierarchy.

He has been omitted from Arsenal's last two pre-season matches as both clubs thrashed out a deal.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have bolstered their defensive ranks by signing Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna for a fee that could rise to £42m, further strengthening their squad ahead of the new campaign.
The Gunners are also interested in PSG's Fabian Ruiz as they look to wrestle the Premier League title from Manchester City.
