Bournemouth have completed the signing of Mexico international Julian Araujo from Barcelona in a deal worth €10 million.
The 22-year-old full-back joins the Premier League side after a brief stint at Barça, where he failed to make a competitive appearance.
Julian Araujo swaps Barcelona for Bournemouth
Araujo initially joined Barcelona from LA Galaxy in 2023 but spent last season on loan at Las Palmas. Despite showing promise, new Barcelona coach Hansi Flick couldn't guarantee him minutes, leading to his departure.

Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake is thrilled to have landed Araujo, beating off competition from other suitors.
"He's a young player with high potential and we're pleased to have beaten lots of competition for his signature," Blake said.
"We believe that we have all the tools here for Julián to build on the quality he already has and we really look forward to welcoming him to Vitality Stadium."
Araujo had a brief taste of Barça's pre-season, featuring in the win over Manchester City in Orlando.
However, it wasn't enough to secure a spot in Flick's plans, prompting the young defender to seek new opportunities.
