Transfer News: Chelsea Makes One Key Change on Nicolas Jackson Bayern Deal After Both Sides Finally Agree Terms
After days of back-and-forth, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have finally reached an agreement over the transfer of Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson.
The two clubs had initially settled on a €15 million loan deal with an option to buy for €65 million. However, Chelsea blocked the move at the last minute, forcing negotiations to be revisited.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, fresh talks have now produced a breakthrough: Bayern will pay €16.5 million for the season-long loan, while a new clause makes the purchase option mandatory next summer.

Journalist Matt Law of The Daily Telegraph adds that Bayern will be obligated to pay the full €65 million fee in 2026, bringing the overall package to €81.5 million.
Jackson has already agreed personal terms and is expected to sign a five-year contract with the German champions.
The 23-year-old forward joined Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023 and showed flashes of his potential during his debut Premier League campaign.
However, according to Softfootball, the Blues have been open to moving him on as part of their ongoing squad rebuild under new management.
For Bayern, the deal secures a dynamic attacker with Champions League experience, fitting their strategy of refreshing the squad while planning for the long term.
