Transfer News: Chelsea turn to 28-goal Bundesliga striker after snubbing Osimhen
RB Leipzig striker Lois Openda has emerged as a leading candidate for Chelsea this summer.
The Blues are keen to upgrade their attacking options and were one of the teams heavily linked to Napoli's Victor Osimhen.
However, new manager Enzo Maresca and the Chelsea board decided that he was too expensive and looked elsewhere.

Now, according to TEAMTALK, Chelsea have made Openda a top target and would be willing to open talks with Leipzig over a deal that could be around 70 million Euros.
The 4-year-old scored 28 goals in all competitions for Leipzig last season, playing a prominent role as part of a front-two that included Benjmin Sesko.
Meanwhile, the Stamford Bridge club remain in talks for Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran and continue to push for a swift resolution ahead of pre-season.
