Jack Grealish is expected to leave Manchester City this summer, but the latest reports suggest the club could struggle to find suitors.

Before the summer transfer window opened, City made Grealish available for sale after excluding him from their final Premier League matchday squad. Pep Guardiola also left the attacking midfielder, signed for £100 million in 2021, out of the Club World Cup squad, setting a £40 million price tag.

However, nearly two months later, Grealish remains at the Etihad, with interested clubs like West Ham, Napoli, and Everton hesitant due to his high transfer fee and substantial wages.

According to The Telegraph, these clubs are holding out for a reduced price or a loan deal.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa, Grealish’s former club, reportedly has no interest in a reunion, which has made matters even more complicated.

Grealish reportedly prefers a loan move himself, aiming to secure a spot in England’s 2026 World Cup squad. New England head coach Thomas Tuchel has advised the 29-year-old to join a club competing in European competitions to boost his international prospects.
