Transfer: Osimhen and Lukaku swap deal between Chelsea and Napoli could be off the table
Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Napoli star in recent months, having declared an interest in the striker.
Osimhen, who struggled with injuries this season, has managed to score 17 goals and provide four assists for Napoli in all competitions.
Despite Napoli’s poor performance this season, the Super Eagles striker still stands out as the clubs highest goal scorer.
No swap deal for Osimhen and Lukaku
Reports of a possible swap deal between Chelsea and Napoli are currently off the table, as reported by Fabrizio.
Fabrizio shared the news on his official X account, saying, “Chelsea and Napoli are currently not working on a swap deal between Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku.
“Chelsea are insisting on a £38 million release clause for any club keen on signing Romelu Lukaku this summer.”

A verbal agreement between the Blues and Osimhen was reportedly reached, and there was even talk of a possible swap deal.
However, Chelsea and Napoli are not taking the proposed Osimhen and Lukaku swap deal into consideration.
Lukaku is expected to return to Stamford Bridge after his loan spell with Roma, with Chelsea having a release clause for the Belgian.
The Belgian’s performance with Roma was impressive, having scored 21 goals and provided four assists in all competitions.
Lukaku's contract with Chelsea ends on June 30, and the Blues will be hoping they can sell him for a decent amount.
