Uganda Cup set to get underway with Buganda Region action

Forty teams from the Buganda Region will enter the Stanbic Uganda Cup fray at various venues in the first preliminary round on Wednesday.

Twenty matches at as many grounds will 20 teams progress to the second preliminary round.

At the latter stage, ten matches will be played to determine who makes it to the third preliminaries, where five will make it to the Round of 64.

It should be noted that all matches in the aforementioned rounds are played at a knockout basis, where post-match penalties will be required in case of a draw after 90 minutes.
