Speaking after the session, Coach Charles acknowledged that while the team is not yet at full capacity, there have been noticeable improvements in several key areas.

"Yeah, we are not a hundred percent, but a couple of areas have been touched on and I believe there's a great improvement, which is one thing that we need to see every single time," he said.

The Lady Cranes have been refining their playbook ahead of their Saturday kickoff, which marks the beginning of a campaign that runs through August 16.

Charles highlighted progress in crucial components of the game, including scrums, lineouts, and set pieces.

"A couple of good scrums, good lineouts and some set pieces. They're not yet perfect, but we're trying to do the final patches and see how best we can fix most of the things before we travel," he added, signaling a focus on fine-tuning rather than overhauling.

The Nile Special outing presents a pivotal test for the Lady Cranes, who are aiming to solidify their presence on the regional rugby stage.

As the team prepares to hit the pitch, fans will be watching closely to see how these final preparations translate into performance.
