Ugandan goalkeeper seals move to Denmark
Uganda Crested Cranes goalkeeper Daphine Nyayenga has sealed a big move to Denmark outfit Boldkubben.
The She Corporate goal-minder has signed a two-year employment contract in Denmark.
"Daphine Nyayenga's move to Boldkubben confirmed," confirmed She Corporate on Saturday via their social media handles.
"Our former goalkeeper is embarking on a fruitful and remarkable journey in Denmark. We truly appreciate your time with us, and we are immensely proud of you."
Nyayenga has spent the past two years with Nakawa-based She Corporate, a side she guided to the 2021/22 FUFA Women's Super League championship.
Nyayenga makes it two Ugandans at the Danish club after former teammate and Crested Cranes midfielder Phionah Nabbumba.
It also makes it four Ugandan players to pass through the club's ranks, with Natasha Shirazi and goalkeeper Vanessa Karungi, who moved on this year to Nordsjaelland the other two.
Nyayenga has been through the Uganda national team set-up, having played for the U-17, U-20 and senior team (Crested Cranes).
