‘VAR leaks? They think we’re all fools’: Diego Simeone expresses frustration about VAR process in La Liga

Simeone's remarks came following Real Madrid's win over Almeria, a match marked by contentious VAR decisions. He criticized not the fact that VAR audio recordings were leaked, but rather the content of these audios. 

According to Atletico Universe on X, Simeone said, "VAR leaks? It’s not about leaking them, but what happens in them. They think we’re all fools, and it makes us angry.”

Simeone emphasized that the problem lies in what happens in the VAR room, suggesting a lack of transparency and fairness in decision-making.
