Victor Osimhen heaps praise on teammate Sara calls him ‘proper baller’ after assisting winning goal

Galatasaray defeated their rivals Besiktas 2-1 in the Istanbul Derby on Monday night to remain top of the Turkish League table.

Sara's accurate free-kick delivery and a header from a Super Eagles star in the 67th minute helped Galatasaray win the game.

After his incredible overhead kick against Antalyaspor last weekend, Osimhen scored his fourth goal of the season to mark his third straight league goal.

After Sara shared a joyful Instagram post about the victory, Osimhen praised him and called her a "proper baller" in the comments section.

Sara's assist, which precisely found Osimhen in the box, was evidence of his inventiveness and skill.

Galatasaray extended their lead thanks to the 25-year-old striker's exquisite finish, but Besiktas responded with a goal in stoppage time.

With 28 points from ten games, Galatasaray's hard-fought victory cemented their place atop the Turkish Super Lig standings, six points ahead of second-place Samsunspor, while Besiktas is still in fourth place with 20 points.

Their rivals Fenerbahçe are also eight points behind Osimhen’s team and currently sit in third position on the table.
