Victor Osimhen, the new signing for Galatasaray, has expressed his excitement to contribute to the team's already formidable attacking force.
The Nigerian striker joined the Turkish Süper Lig champions from Napoli on a season-long loan after moves to Chelsea and other clubs failed.
According to Sports Buddy, the 25-year-old striker announced his arrival in Turkey in style as he provided an assist in Galatasaray’s comprehensive 5-0 defeat of Olawoyin Ibrahim’s Rizespor.
Osimhen believes that the addition of himself to the squad will make Galatasaray an even more potent attacking threat.
"I knew that Galatasaray was a very good team before I came. I will try to contribute as much as I can," he told Galatasaray media.
The former Napoli star also emphasised the importance of teamwork and learning from his more experienced teammates.
"There is no competition between us and the center forwards. Icardi is a legend of this game. Batshuayi is also a very important and dangerous forward. I definitely have things to learn from both of them. I think we will work well," he added.
Osimhen's arrival has further strengthened Galatasaray's attacking options, making them a formidable force in the Turkish Süper Lig and a potential contender in European competitions.
