Vipers provides return dates for Komakech, Fumador and Mutombora
Vipers SC's injured trio of Jack Komakech, Fabien Mutombora and Fumador Asiwome has neared return, and it won't be far off before they resume action.
While they will not feature in today's game against Gaddafi FC at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende, the club has confirmed that they started training.
Assistant head coach Baker Kasule disclosed that they will be back in the "next games."
"We had injuries in the first round; players like Komakech Jack, Fumador Asiwome, Fabien Mutombora, but at least they have all started training with the team," Kasule told the club media.
"It gives us a very big boost that in the coming games (two or three games), we shall have a full squad."
Komakech's last game was on December 7 last year, as the Vipers edged Kitara FC 2-1 at the St. Mary's Stadium.
He has gone on to miss five league games as well as the 2-1 Uganda Cup victory against Lugazi Stars FC.
Meanwhile, Fumador Asiwome strained his muscles after his hat trick heroics as the Vipers thrashed NEC FC 4-1 in January.
The Ghanaian has sat out one Uganda Premier League game as many in the Uganda Cup.
On the other hand, Mutombora has been out of action since Vipers' 3-2 defeat at the hands of BUL FC on December 22.
