Senegal coach Pape Thiaw seems to be already giving the script to Kenya about who of his players they should look out for.

Harambee Stars face the Teranga Lions in a friendly match on Tuesday with both teams looking to bounce from losses after Benni McCarthy’s men were beaten 1-0 by Equatorial Guinea on Friday while Thiaw’s team was handed a 2-0 defeat by Brazil on Saturday.

While Kenya are set to keep an eye on Sadio Mane, Iliman Ndiaye, Idrisa Gueye and Kalidou Koulibaly among others, Thiaw has been raving about youngster Ibrahim Mbaye, who made his Senegal debut as a second half substitute against Brazil.

Thiaw In Awe of Mbaye’s Talents

Thiaw gave the 17-year-old right winger his first taste of international football this month and after he came on in the 71st minute against the five-time world champions, he was in awe of his qualities.

"He is a talent we all recognise," said after the match. "He has a clear project with us, he is delighted to be integrated, and that is what matters."

After he was trusted with 19 minutes against Brazil, when his team was trailing by two goals, Mbaye could get more against a lesser opposition in the form of Kenya and he could terrorise the Harambee Stars defence if they are not in tune.

PSG Youngster Could Terrorise Kenya

The French-born forward is already a key member of Luis Enrique’s side as he has made 15 appearances for PSG this season, including 10 in the league and three in the Champions League.

He has so far started seven games for the French giants, among them the 2-1 victory against Barcelona in the Champions League, in October.

Mbaye is, however, yet to score or provide an assist this term and could do it against Kenya if he is afforded time and space on the ball.
