WATCH: Chelsea new boy Nicolas Jackson scores brilliant goal to continue RED-HOT form

Chelsea continued their preparations for the new season as they faced fellow Premier League side Newcastle United at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

The free-scoring Blues had won their first two games of pre-season so far, defeating Wrexham 5-0 and then coming out on tops in a thrilling 4-3 win over Brighton. 

Mauricio Pochettino's men had to settle for a 1-1 draw here but the highlight of the game was a brilliant strike by new signing Nicolas Jackson, his second in as many games.

The 22-year-old timed his run to perfection, showing unbelievable speed and placing a one-time finish beyond the advancing Martin Dubravka in goal for Newcastle.

Chelsea fans are clearly delighted with their new signing with some even comparing him to the great Didier Drogba. arly days still but the signs are clearly promising.
