[WATCH] - Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa set for AFCON after first goal in 22 months
Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa is finding form at the right time ahead of the AFCON2023 after breaking his 22-month goal drought in style.
The Nigerian football legend scored a sensational goal as Sivasspor defeated Arnavutkoy Belediyesi 2-1 in the Turkish Cup on Thursday night.

The Nigeria international has endured a difficult time at his club and national team after a prolonged hiatus in front of goal.
However, it was a big relief when he netted an excellent strike in the Turkish Cup to end his dry spell in front of goal and also indicate his readiness for the AFCON2023 next month.
Musa’s goal was scored in the 25th minute to double the lead for Sivasspor, after Hakan Arslan’s opener in the 19th minute.
Harun Ozcan pulled one back for the visitors just before the break but it was nothing but a consolation in the end.
But the day belonged to Musa whose goal was celebrated by the fans and teammates and serves as a major boost for the World Cup hero heading into the AFCON as Nigeria looks to life the title for the first time in 10 years.
It was Musa’s first goal for club and country since he netted for former club, Karagumruk back on February 26th, 2022.
It was also his first of the season across the competition and could bring a renewed sense of confidence and optimism for the Super Eagles skipper.
