WATCH: Super Eagles stars and Peseiro dance and celebrate in AFCON 2023 promo video

The Super Eagles of Nigeria appeared in a jolly and cheerful mood ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations set to kick off in Ivory Coast in two days.

CAF posted a 35-second video on their official social media platforms @CAF_Online featuring 12 Super Eagles players and the head coach Jose Peseiro dancing.

The caption for the post affirms that "Nigeria are more than ready for the AFCON 2023" and captures the Super Eagles in an unusually playful state ahead of the big tournament.

Zaidu Sanusi, Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Ahmed Musa, Victor Osimhen, Umar Sadiq, Raphael Onyedika, Alhassan Yusuf, Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Francis Uzoho and Moses Simon are the Super Eagles who appeared in this video.

Nigeria will begin their AFCON journey on January 14 when they play against Equatorial Guinea at the Olympic Stadium of Ebimpe.

After which they will play against host nation Ivory Coast and Guinea-Bissau in a difficult Group A to begin the tournament.
