Declan Rice has shared his thoughts on England's run to the EURO 2024 final, insisting the team deserves more love for their possession game.
Rice also believes they must dominate the ball to have any chance of winning the final against Spain.
"Yeah, definitely," He said when asked if England needs to replicate their possession-heavy game plan against the Netherlands.
Declan Rice belives England deserve credit for their style of play
"We looked at the Dutch in midfield and they've got top players... But I never feel like we get that love and that credit about how well we keep the ball."
"We have been doing that well of late... We kept the ball really well in the final third."
However, he warned that Spain presents a unique challenge.
"Against Spain, it is going to be needed. We're going to need to take touches, take the sting out of the game because Spain... are the kings of killing football matches and passing the ball.
"We need to use all our experience and everything we've got to try and control."
