Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong has vowed that the team will fight until the very end to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

For Nigeria to seal automatic qualification, they must secure maximum points against Lesotho and Benin, and then hope that Benin and Bafana Bafana drop points in their last two fixtures.

Acknowledging the challenging scenario, Troost-Ekong remained resolute. He told the Super Eagles media.

“We’re optimistic and we’re always going to fight till the end. We believe and we’re never going to stop believing.

"Two important games, Friday, the first one, and after that we get back to Nigeria. Our focus now is on Lesotho.”
