The Hammers and Fulham are reportedly looking to snap up Nigerian striker Adams Akor, who has impressed in Ligue 1 this season for Montpellier.
Akor, 23, has caught the attention following a bright start to life at the French side he joined in the summer, with West Ham and Fulham having scouted him extensively.
Next Osimhen on the horizon
Akor has taken to life in Ligue 1 with ease and looked settled following his transfer in the summer.
The giant striker is one of the top scorers in the French Ligue 1 having scored seven goals so far for his modest club.
His display for Montpellier has seen him linked with a move to the Premier League, with the Hammers and Cottagers reportedly interested.
According to a Football Insider report, the young forward, who has been dubbed the ‘next Osimhen’ will cost both London clubs around 15 to 20 million pounds to prise him away.
Like his compatriot, Victor Osimhen, who impressed in Ligue 1 before his move to Napoli, Akor is sharpening his skill in the French league and could be on the move soon.
Akor joined Montpellier back in August from Norwegian club side Lillestrom, where he scored 17 goals in 18 appearances before his departure.
