What did Super Eagles' Boniface say after Leverkusen's dramatic UEL win?
Despite being sidelined through injury, Nigerian striker Victor Boniface was left bursting with pride as his Bayer Leverkusen teammates produced a stunning comeback to reach the Europa League quarterfinals.
Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that Boniface has been out of action since January after suffering a serious injury setback that also ruled him out of the Africa Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles earlier this year.

But the 23-year-old watched on from the stands at the BayArena as Xabi Alonso's side overturned a 2-0 deficit against Qarabag.
Patrik Schick was the hero as he came from the bench to net two late goals to help Leverkusen win 3-2 on the night and 5-4 on aggregate on a magical Thursday night.
After the full-time whistle, Boniface took to Twitter to share his delight at Leverkusen's dramatic progress, posting: "My TEAM ❤️❤️❤️"
It was a sentiment no doubt echoed by Leverkusen fans worldwide after Schick's last-gasp brace sealed an incredible turnaround victory.
The Czech striker had also netted a crucial equaliser in the first leg's 2-2 draw in Baku to single-handedly keep Leverkusen's hopes alive.
Boniface would have been watching his teammates' heroics through gritted teeth, no doubt itching to be out there making his own impact.
My TEAM ❤️❤️❤️

The frontman had been in red-hot form for Leverkusen before his injury, bagging 10 goals and seven assists in 17 appearances, while adding four goals in the Europa League.
With his rehab going well, the Super Eagles star is on course to still play a part as the Bundesliga side chase glory on multiple fronts this season.
And you can be sure the comeback king will be driving his teammates on from the sidelines until he gets his chance to shine again.
