Where is Messi? Ronaldo breaks another record as Portugal reach Nations League final
Portugal staged a 2-1 comeback win over Germany in their Nations League semifinal in Munich on Wednesday, advancing to their second final in the competition's history.
Cristiano Ronaldo stole the spotlight by scoring his 137th international goal, becoming the oldest player to score against Germany.
The goal came five minutes after substitute Francisco Conceicao’s powerful 63rd-minute equalizer, erasing Germany’s lead from Florian Wirtz’s precise 48th-minute header.

Coach Roberto Martinez’s tactical substitutions turned the tide, ending Ronaldo’s personal losing streak against Germany and securing Portugal’s place in the final.
Ronaldo continues to extend his lead over Lionel Messi, with his latest goal taking his tally to 137 strikes in international football, while his Argentine rival remains some way behind, with 112.
While Portugal have already booked their spot in the final, they will have to wait for the outcome of the other semifinal between France and Spain.
