Getafe fired first but were willing to settle for one point after Real Madrid equalised; however, a late Bellingham strike ensured Los Blancos took all three points.
Jose Bordalas's side were the latest threat to Real Madrid's 100 per cent record, and they proved a worthy adversary. They came close to putting a dent in Carlos Ancelotti''s side's unbeaten run, but Bellingham came to the rescue.
How it happened
Getafe started brightly and shocked the fans at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu early on after a strike from their former striker Borja Mayoral in the 11th minute of the game.
The hosts thought they had a chance to equalise when referee Mario Melero Lopez pointed to the spot after Bellingham was seemingly fouled in the box. However, VAR intervened, and upon review, the on-field decision was rescinded.
Despite their best efforts, Real Madrid failed to find an equaliser in the first-half; however, they came out after the break charging, scoring only two minutes into resumption thanks to a Joselu strike
Only two Real Madrid signings have EVER scored in each of their first 4 LALIGA games: Jude Bellingham and Cristiano Ronaldo 🔥

The match looked headed for a draw before the since-impeccable David Soria spilled Vazquez's shot from outside the box. Bellingham pounced on the rebound and rolled the ball home for Los Merengues.
