Boxing veteran Teddy Atlas has discussed Anthony Joshua's possible retirement on his latest podcast.

Joshua, a two-time world champion who previously held three of the four major world titles, has had an incredible career that has taken him to the pinnacle of the sport.

On his path to glory, Joshua defeated Wladimir Klitschko, Joseph Parker, Kubrat Pulev, Alexander Povetkin, and Dillian Whyte.

The British fighter lost his titles to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and was unable to regain them in a 2022 rematch.

Daniel Dubois defeated Joshua in five rounds in September of last year as he attempted to become a three-time champion.

Some in the boxing community said that the fan favourite should hang up the gloves after the performance.

Atlas discussed whether or not Joshua ought to retire in an interview with his own podcast.

Joshua has stated that he will continue to fight and hoped for an epic fight with Tyson Fury.

The possibility of a mega-British fight has ended for the time being due to Fury's retirement.

However, there are still significant fights against someone like Martin Bakole, a rematch with Dubois, or a second fight with Zhilei Zhang after defeating him in the Olympics.
