Why Milton Karisa has missed Uganda Cranes' trip to Egypt
Vipers SC skipper Milton Karisa has withdrawn from the Uganda Cranes squad that has travelled to Egypt for an International friendly game against Kuwait.
Head Coach Paul Joseph Put had initially included him in the 22-man team summoned a week ago, but will now stay home due to injury.
Karisa has confirmed suffering a minor hamstring issue that will rule him out for a yet-to-be-confirmed spell.
"I had a minor hamstring injury setback but will be back as soon as possible," Karisa revealed on his social media handles.
"I wish a successful friendly game to the Uganda Cranes against Kuwait on Friday."

Meanwhile, SC Villa attacker Umar Lutalo, who had been included in the initial squad, has been excluded over unconfirmed reasons.
BUL FC goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa, who had been called up in the provisional squad, has also been left home.
The friendly encounter against Kuwait will be played on January 19 in Cairo, Egypt.
