Arokodare featured for 68 minutes but struggled to make an impact, proving largely ineffective against a disciplined Palace side that controlled much of the game.

Wolves’ attacking threat was limited, with Arokodare unable to capitalise on opportunities despite his known goal-scoring pedigree.

The match was tight early on, with both teams cautiously feeling each other out before Crystal Palace began to assert dominance.

Palace had several chances in the first half, including a near miss from Jean-Philippe Mateta. Wolves showed signs of life but failed to create clear-cut opportunities.

After the break, Arokodare was cautioned for a rash tackle, reflecting the intensity and frustration of the Wolves squad struggling to break their losing streak.

The opening goal came in the 63rd minute when Daniel Munoz rifled home a deflected shot after a well-worked corner routine.

Wolves introduced Hwang Hee-Chan and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde in the 65th minute, subbing out Arokodare and Marshall Munetsi in an attempt to change the game.

Palace doubled their lead just four minutes later through Yeremy Pino, who smashed a long-range strike off the crossbar, effectively sealing the win.

Wolves continued to battle but could not find a way back, with a late free-kick from Eddie Nketiah narrowly missing.

The defeat leaves Wolves bottom of the Premier League table with just two points from 12 matches, deepening the crisis at Molineux and raising fresh questions about Arokodare’s future at the club as he continues to seek his breakthrough moment in English football.
