World Cup Qualifiers: Team captain, assistant out of Uganda U20 team to face Senegal
Hugely important figures Hadijah Nandago and Phiona Nabulime have been excluded from the Uganda U20 Women’s National Football Team ahead of the World Cup qualification ties with Senegal.
Nandago, who is the Queen Cranes captain, along with her assistant, Nabulime, have been left out as they are headed to sit the Uganda Advanced Certificate Examinations (UACE).
The pair subsequently missed from Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi's 28-lady provisional squad.
Uganda will take on Senegal in Dakar between November 10th-12th before the two teams face off again on the 18th at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
To reach this stage, the Queen Cranes eliminated Mozambique courtesy of an 8-0 on aggregate victory.
It should be noted that there will be one more round after the second round to determine the four teams that will represent Africa at next year’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
