‘You gave us the strength to fight’ - Osimhen hails Galatasaray fans after derby win
Osimhen made his comeback in Galatasaray's thrilling Super Lig game against Fenerbahce, another title challenger, following his absence from their midweek victory over Gaziantep.
The Nigerian international had a decent game for the second time in a row, providing an assist for the second goal.
The striker has been an important player for the Turkish side since joining on loan this summer from Napoli.
Osimhen praises Galatasaray fans
Osimhen has thanked Galatasaray supporters for their support in a social media post following the win.
Osimhen said, per Fanatik, “Yesterday’s win wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of Galatasaray fans around the world. Your cheers gave us the strength to fight,”
“You are no just fans in the stands; you are a big part of this team. Thank you for believing in us. We walk together.”

Three goals from Gabriel Sara, one from Dries Mertens, and an own goal from Dominik Livakovic saw the Lions win 3-1. Osimhen was impressive, setting up Mertens' goal with a brilliant assist.
Despite their perfect record since the beginning of the season, Galatasaray was expected to face a challenging opponent.
However, despite having the home advantage, Fenerbahce was easily defeated by the current Turkish champions.
Osimhen and his Galatasaray team will play PAOK in the Europa League on Wednesday, and they'll be hoping to start the competition strong.
