The celebration continues for Nigeria's senior women's basketball team known as D'Tigress.
D'Tigress defeated Senegal to win the 2023 FIBA Women's Afrobasket title in Kigali, Rwanda.
It was the fourth straight Afrobasket title for D'Tigress despite Head Coach Rena Wakama being appointed weeks before the start of the tournament.

Following their triumph, Olawuyi Adenike Olayemi was received by Osun State Governor His Excellency Senator Ademola Adeleke.
Governor Adeleke, uncle of American-born Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer David Adedeji Adeleke OON, professionally known as Davido, hosted D'Tigress star Olawuyi Adenike Olayemi in his office.
