There is alot of excitement around Kansanga as the KIU Titans head into this season's playoffs, eyeing their maiden league title.

Coach Julius Lutwama has insisted that being successful in the playoffs is more of how the team can adjust during that period.

"Finishing among the top seeds does not matter in the playoffs as long as you can hang in there and adjust, especially in the National Basketball League," Lutwama told KIU Media.

"It feels good to coach these players, and we need everyone to get on board, including the fans, as we strive to achieve something special this year," he added.

Lutwama also praised star player Amisi Saidi, who scored a season-high 41 points in Sunday's 101- 84 victory over the Ndejje Angels.

"We stuck to the script, and we knew that he was working very well, and we decided to do that for him, and he got his 41 points, and credit goes to him."

KIU Titans finished their regular season campaign with an 18-4 record, with their seed to be confirmed after the conclusion of the regular season.
