KIU Rangers' head coach, Julius Lutwama, expressed optimism about his team's performance as they advance into the playoff semi finals this season.

In the quarter-final series, the Kansanga-based squad dominated the Miracle Ravens, securing victories with 66-58 and 75-50 scores in Game One and Two, respectively.

The Rangers delivered an impressive performance, particularly in the second quarter, where they amassed 28 points, extending their lead and maintaining their momentum to clinch the victory and secure their spot in the semi-finals.

"We are thrilled to have qualified for the semi-finals of the playoffs, and we're looking forward to continuing our journey," Lutwama shared with KIU media.

"The team's hard work has brought us to this point, and it's evident that our performance in the second game was a significant improvement from the first."

Lutwama said, "This victory provides us ample time to analyse our potential opponents in the upcoming round, and we will be well-prepared to face whoever advances."

The KIU Rangers, in pursuit of their inaugural championship title, are now awaiting the outcome of the quarter-final clash between the JT Lady Jaguars and Magic Stormers, which is currently tied at 1-1.
