The JT Lady Jaguars consolidated the top spot in the National Basketball League on Saturday with an impressive 74-31 victory over bottom-placed Nkumba Lady Marines at the KIU Court.

Buoyed by their victory in the last game over the Kampala University Ladies, the Jaguars came into this fixture, meaning business as they raced to a 36- 13 lead at the end of the second quarter.

The table toppers high powered offence was too much for the Lady Marines as four players registered double digits in scoring, simply blowing away their opponents.

Sarah Ageno was the show's star as she bagged another 15 points and ten rebounds double in 26 minutes, highlighting her supreme performance.

The offensive struggles of the Lady Marines were further highlighted in this game as no one on the team managed to get higher than seven points, a worrying sight for a team that is bottom of the table.

The Lady Jaguars take their season record to and can make it three straight wins with a victory over the Nabisunsa Girls in their Sunday fixture.

Bottom placed, Nkumba Lady Marines face Nabisunsa Girls in their next fixture, hoping to secure their first victory of the season.
