JKL Lady Dolphins captain Flavia Oketcho has revealed that winning the championship is the end goal for the team regardless of where they are seeded come playoff time.

The Lady Dolphins are undefeated in the second round and find themselves with a 14-2 record, having to play catch up as the regular season hits its home stretch.

"Winning the championship is the goal, and where we finish in the regular season does not matter as long as the team keeps winning games," Oketcho told Pulse Sports.

"The team is not riding on what we have done in the past but looking forward to every game with the same ambition to win and help us achieve our goals."

"We have kept our team core airtight with a lot of experience and added vital pieces to our squad as we keep on building and improving for the now and future," she added.

The JKL Dolphins hope to make their fourth straight NBL finals appearance, winning the championship in 2018 and 2019 before losing the 2022 finals to the UCU Lady Canons.
