Sarr, Mane and Habib Diallo were on target for Senegal, while Jean-Charles Castelletto scored Cameroon's only consolation.

While he wasn't directly at fault for the goals, many felt he could have done much for all the three goals.

The Manchester United goalkeeper was making just his first appearance in this edition, as he arrived late to miss Cameroon's one-all stalemate with Guinea days back.

Cameroon will now have to beat Gambia in their final group stage match to stand any chance of making it to the Round of 16.

Meanwhile, Senegal will wrap up their group-stage business with a bout against Guinea next week.
