Afrobeats: Thomas Muller shows off dance moves to Rema's 'Calm Down'

Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller links up with Nigerian dancer and dances to Rema's Calm Down.

Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller showed off his dancing moves to the Afrobeat smash hit Calm Down along with a group of your footballers. 

The 34-year-old is currently on international duty with Germany in the USA. He was involved in the friendly against the USMNT, which ended in a victory for Die Mannschaft, and ahead of their clash against another North American side, Mexico, the forward was seen having fun with kids.

What happened 

Muller is known for his seriousness and ruthless efficiency on the field; however, off it, the Germany international always embraces the lighthearted.  

He is either making jokes, like his famous "Lewangoalski" quip or posting on his Tiktok. In a recent post on his Instagram and TikTok, the Bayern star collaborated with German-Nigerian dancer and content creator NoelGoesCrazy.

Muller shared a clip of himself taking tips from Noel while dancing to the Afrobeats song Calm Down by Rema, featuring Selena Gomez.

The song is one of the major global hits of the past year, holding a record as the first song to spend a year on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart.

The song has enjoyed tremendous success and has contributed to driving the “Afrobeats to the World” movement. Calm Down has crossed over one billion streams on Spotify, and it peaked at third on the competitive Billboard Top 100 chart.
