BUL FC will literary kiss the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League title goodbye should they suffer defeat against leaders Kitara FC in a massively anticipated bout slated for Masindi Stadium, on Friday.

Despite being second, the Eastern Giants trail the Royals by four points after 21 games, with eight to round off the campaign.

While Kitara are on 43 points, BUL follow with 39, with NEC FC sitting third wit 37 points.

BUL has also failed to win a game in the last four league games, suffering defeat on two occasions in the process.

However, head Abbey Bogere Kikomeko is eager to see his side fight back to get back into title business.

“The boys are in good shape. We have rectified our mistakes after losing our previous two games against SC Villa and UPDF, and I think our performance in tomorrow’s game will be totally different," Kikomeko was quoted by the club media.

BUL were narrow 2-1 winners in the first round, courtesy of an Alex Kitata brace. Denis Omedi netted Kitara's consolation at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
