Al Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is sitting on top of the world once again, at 38 years of age.

Despite FIFA's controversial exclusion of Al Nassr's Arab Club Champions Cup matches, Cristiano Ronaldo secured the IFFHS Men’s World Best Goalscorer for 2023.

Ronaldo's monumental win, came thanks to his 54 goals with Al Nassr and Portugal’s national team.

Six of his 54 goals during the Arab Club Champions Cup were disregarded by FIFA, leading to doubts about his top-scorer status for 2023 but IFFHS recognised the tournament and crowned his achievements.

Already leading the Golden Boot race with 53 goals, Ronaldo scored his 54th in the last match against Al Taawoun.

The IFFHS praised Ronaldo for this achievement at the age of 38, outperforming Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane, who tallied 52 goals each.
