As they thrashed Arua Hill SC 4-1 on Sunday at the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi, Obua awarded youngster Amis Bwangani his senior team debut, with the latter impressing with two assists.

The tactician was thereafter instant in juxtaposing with how KCCA FC legendary coach Mike Mutebi believed in him as a teenager for his debut over two decades back.

"I told the players in the dressing room coach Mike Mutebi gave me my first game against Gor Mahia, and he had so much confidence in me, and I have to do the same thing," Obua revealed in his post-match press interview.

"And, I'm giving all of them (a chance); Bruno (Bunyaga) came in as well. They will play, including Ssekibengo (Godfrey); he will get his chance."

Obua further heaped praise on Bwangani for his debut brilliance against the Leopards.

"He is from school; I think he tried with us for four or five days, but you could see the boy is very intelligent with a sweet left foot."

"And I was like, why not? I told the players to protect the boy, but he has big nuts as well. He went in there and was enjoying himself," Obua added.

"These are the characters we need in football; it has nothing to do with age."

Meanwhile, following the win, URA moved seventh on the 16-team table with 16 points in 11 matches and will return to action against Busoga United on December 20.
