The individuals were found to have violated articles 43 and 44 of the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Code.

The investigation centered on a Uganda Premier League match between Lugazi FC and Buhimba United Saints FC on November 8, 2025. The game, which ended in a 5-2 victory for Lugazi FC, was determined to have been fixed.

Who are the Players Banned?

As a result, several members of Buhimba United Saints FC have been suspended from all football-related activities. Players Nkata Fred and Ayebale Moses each received a five-year ban, while their teammate Dudu Ramadhan was handed a two-year suspension. The club's Technical Director, Kalumba James, was also banned for five years.

The committee issued its most severe penalty to former player Feni Ali, who received a lifetime ban from all football activities. The investigation found that Ali acted as a key intermediary, coordinating with match-fixers and connecting them with players to manipulate the outcome of several matches, including the game between Lugazi and Buhimba United.

All sanctioned individuals have been formally notified of the decisions, and their respective bans took effect immediately upon receipt of the notifications.
