Express FC’s Ramsey Kawooya out to build on superb debut performance
Players always look forward to having great debuts for their clubs, as was the case for Express FC’s Ramsey Kawooya.
The combative holding midfielder made his first start for the Red Eagles during their 2-1 win away to KCCA FC in the Kampala Derby on Sunday, a performance he hopes comes by more often.
When Rambo saw this post, he thought it was an order 😅

“I had a great first game (Vs KCCA FC). Every player’s dream is to have a great first game, especially on such a big stage, so I feel great that I had a good start; the target should be doing better in the next games,” he told Pulse Sports.
“To do this, though, I will have to work closely with my teammates because it’s teamwork.”

Kawooya, making his debut in the Uganda Premier League, is one of the new faces brought in to bolster Express FC’s camp this season.
James Odoch has also shared his opinion about Ramsey, terming him a very composed and exemplary player.
“I avoid putting undue pressure on my players and encourage them to relish the game; Ramsey is an exemplary, Composed, and astute player. His progress is evident with each game,” Odoch noted.
The 2021 league champions are unbeaten thus far, managing two wins (both away) and a draw in as many games, taking them to seven points on the log.
The Wankulukuku-based side is, however, not expected to have two new additions in captain Allan Kayiwa, with reports indicating he is out of the country conducting trials in Ethiopia, and left-wing back Brian Majwegga, who is also searching for a club in Tanzania.
